I wanted to like this one because I had good memories of Soul Calibur 6 but man oh man did this one disappoint. It is not a perfect game but it is at this moment the best 3D fighter on the current gen consoles. This easily avoided PR mess up is something they need to learn from I get the feeling that Namco gave the devs very little money for this project, and as such they needed to focus on some things, thankfully they focused on the right thing. The character in that dlc fits better into the story then some of the character in the base roster. Often you are shown the same old picture with a picture of a character and some enemy. The way in which the story is presented feels cheap, Don't get me wrong here, I do enjoy stories told to still pictures as well, just that they could have had more pictures while showing the story. Hit or miss The visuals can be good or bad depending if you like the art-style or not, personally I do like it but I can see some people not liking it. The Libra of souls has this far been way more fun then I thought it would be. The character customization is good, would have likes some more pieces of cloths but all in all it is better then Tekken 7 in this department. It feels responsive and it is easy to get into with a dept there that will be fun to explore. The most important thing, that being the combat, is great, that part is a clear 10 out of 10. This game is somewhere around 8 or 9 to be honest, with a few things dragging it down, so let me jump right into it. In most cases the season pass is less money than every piece of dlc, even then if it is the same price only buying say 4/6 dlc would be cheaper for the consumer. You can take a look at any game on steam that offers a season pass, it vs all the dlc for it. From my experience with season passes it is "slightly" cheaper to buy it than if all the dlc by itself. Buying 4 characters would be cheaper than buying the season pass. I said only buying the characters alone would be cheaper.
Speculation? or do you have proof buying all the dlc separate will be cheaper? I can't see them doing this as they'd lose money.
